My first Girly Whims Wednesday... granted - a day late.

After over a year of going to work and coming home to sit on my butt, I have decided to swap that second part for 'going to the gym'
Yesterday was my first day and it felt AMAZING !! Somehow I managed to do 25 minutes on the treadmill. My chest was hurting after 7 minutes, my legs were cramping, but I was so excited to actually be working out, none of it bothered me.
As I was sweating and trying to gasp for air, I found myself smiling and thinking " it's good to be back."
I plan on making myself a routine, including 1 day a week swimming ..still haven't picked the day. I'm leaning towards Wednesday. I have no idea why.
My legs are sore, shin splints are back, abs hurting... but it feels SO good!!!
Bring on tomorrow - my day off, and a few hours at the gym!

Today; Feb 1st, I just want to wish everyone a great month ahead. Let's make it a month full of excitement, growth, love, visits, good food, good company and positive changes.
Let's not be afraid to dream, to hope or to pray for our loved ones.
I hope February will bring good news to me and the people I love.
